Claire Oakes, Simian’s Consultancy Manager said: “Having now been at Simian for the past few months, we are keen to develop the construction consultancy side of the business. Historically, Simian’s customer base has primarily been those working in the scaffolding sector, but we are seeing a steady increase in the number of construction-based businesses looking for the support we are providing”.
Jackie Thomason, Commercial Director at Simian, said, “Having two new construction safety specialists on the team means that we can broaden the scope of our services, and offer support to construction businesses of all shapes and sizes. Since Claire and Dave came on board, we’ve seen a healthy upward curve in the number of non-scaffolding customers we are engaging. Our business growth plan is based on diversification of our product portfolio, and this is the first phase of that plan.”
