Simian’s Apprenticeship Outstanding Achiever Award

30th August 2016

We would like to say a big congratulations to David Nott, who is our winner of the Simian Outstanding Achiever Award for August.

We offer both part-time and full time scaffolding apprenticeships to help build young people’s career in scaffolding.  Our schemes are designed to introduce learners to the world of scaffolding with a mix of practical and theory based training.

Throughout the scheme we continually monitor and assess our apprentices on their progress. At the end of each teaching course we evaluate our apprentices based on their performance, test results, time keeping, safety attitudes and completion of their NVQs. During each course there is always a student who goes the extra mile to show their enthusiasm and natural talent for the field.

We are delighted to award David the outstanding achiever award as the best performing apprentice on the course, along with his £30 prize voucher, which he can use to buy his first set of tools or PPE items.

If you are interested in a scaffolding apprenticeship you will be pleased to know our schemes are available on a national scale at our training centres based throughout the UK.

Our apprentices can achieve the following qualifications to help kick start their careers:

CISRS Trainee (Part 1)

CISRS Scaffolder (Part 2)

CISRS Skill Test (Level 2)

Construction Diploma (Level 2)

NVQ Access and Rigging Operations – Scaffolding (Level 2)

Functional Skills (Level 1)
