Scaffolding Apprenticeship Training
SIMIAN has a wealth of experience when it comes to delivering apprenticeship training for the scaffolding industry. If you are looking for a training scheme, for yourself or for an employee, then we can help.
Apprenticeships have increasingly played an important role in the scaffolding industry but with renewed focus on apprenticeships from the government we expect to see their importance grow.
The apprenticeship standards for scaffolding are changing and existing frameworks are being replaced by new standards which are being designed by employers and other industry stakeholders. This approach will ensure that apprenticeship schemes are relevant, up-to-date and that course content delivers the skills that are really needed by employers in the industry. An Employer that doesn’t pay the Apprenticeship Levy
The introduction of the apprenticeship levy should encourage more employers to consider taking on apprentices and in addition to this, the government has also introduced a Register of Approved Training Providers (RoATP). Organisations that are listed on the RoATP have been through an application process with the Skills Funding Agency that considers due diligence, capability, quality and financial health to assess their capability to deliver high-quality apprenticeship training.
SIMIAN’s application to the register was successful, which means we can work directly with employers who are training their staff through funds from the apprenticeship levy. Find out more about the register here >
