Working as a labourer, Louis wished to grow his skill set and increase his earning potential by undertaking a SIMIAN apprenticeship at our Warrington centre.
The apprenticeship has helped Louis learn new skills and, importantly, gain experience on lots of different types of builds, including work on a monastery. When asked about the apprenticeship, Louis told us that:
“The instructors are very helpful and make sure you are engaged in the course. They work hard to improve your learning and supply the correct training to achieve your qualifications”.
Louis has big plans for his future career after his apprenticeship, with the ultimate goal of working overseas, particularly in Mexico, Australia, or South America.
Would Louis recommend an apprenticeship with SIMIAN, and what would he say to anyone considering scaffolding as a career?
“Yes definitely! Work as hard as you can in school and this will set you up nicely for an apprenticeship in scaffolding.”
