Case Study

Aidan starts his career journey with a Scaffolding Apprenticeship at SIMIAN

With labouring skills already under his belt, and with encouragement from his employer WRPS, Aidan has begun his Scaffolding Apprenticeship at SIMIAN Warrington. Through his apprenticeship he will earn his qualifications and gain the necessary skills to progress in this industry.

Although only at the beginning of his journey, Aidan already feels more confident in his abilities and has learnt the importance of being able to work in groups and also by myself under the guidance of his instructor. Having instructors who share their wealth of knowledge, explain everything in extreme detail and share real-world experiences will significantly contribute to Aidan’s growth throughout his apprenticeship.

Beginning an apprenticeship was an easy choice for Aidan as it allows him to be fully trained whilst stilling being paid and in employment with WRPS. After his course, Aidan hopes to take on more responsibility on site and progress within his company.

When asked about his apprenticeship journey so far, Aidan said:

I have learnt a lot already from my instructors and my confidence and resilience within group settings has increased which is good for when I go on site. I would highly recommend training at SIMIAN as everything they teach is the correct and safe way of scaffolding.

We wish Aidan the best of luck with his apprenticeship and cannot wait to see him progress throughout this journey. If you are interested in apprenticeships at SIMIAN, find out more here.
