West Midlands Restoration Worker Sadly Killed Following Fall from Scaffolding

A scaffolding incident in the West Midlands on 13th November resulted in the tragic death of a 64-year-old worker.

According to reports, the worker fell from scaffolding placed on St Nicholas’ Church during a restoration project. Police, paramedics and the West Midlands Air Ambulance were in attendance but despite efforts, the worker had suffered serious injuries and following the administration of advanced life support, he was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.

Enquiries into the cause of the fall are ongoing and the Health and Safety Executive has been informed.
