Talk me through a typical day in the office/work for you?
Get up around 5.30 have a brew and some toast and set off to the days appointment. This could range from scaffold inspection, to insurance surveys or assisting retained clients with documentation and providing advice on general day to day queries by telephone and email.

What is your favourite part of the job?
The Variety, no two days are the same with many different areas covered.

If you didn’t work at Simian what would be your dream job?
World Superbike Racer.

When you aren’t in work where are most likely to be found?
The list is long I have loads of hobbies including riding my motorbikes, both off and on road, tinkering with the few classic cars I have, or even on the allotment.

would your ideal holiday be and why?
Isle of Man for the TT races, quality two weeks of racing and socialising.

Both, but recently been drinking more tea.

Chocolate.

Beer or wine?
Beer.

Celebrity look-alike?
Don’t really have one, my auntie is convinced I look like Brad Pitt, but I don’t see the resemblance myself.

A weekend in the country or a city break?
Weekend in the country.

Rugby or football?
Neither, both kick a bag of wind about. I’m more into my motorbike racing.

Early morning or late nights?
Late nights.

Pub or wine bar?
Pub.
