Solutions for the Scaffolding Industry: a roundup of our open day with SpanSet

On 12th September, Simian partnered with leading height safety equipment supplier, SpanSet, for a technical open day to showcase height safety solutions for scaffolding professionals, an event that proved to be highly successful.
The event itself took place in SpanSet’s state of the art training facility in Cheshire, which provided the perfect setting to demonstrate a number of Personal Fall Protection Equipment (PFPE) products that help scaffolding professionals to reduce and manage the risks associated with working at height. Just some of the demonstrations seen on the day included:
- Hybrid lanyards vs traditional lanyards
- Safe rigging and lifting
- First response rescue
- And many others
With additional discussions on the most up to date scaffolding guidance from Simian’s Managing Director, Simon Hughes, as well as several real-world demonstrations that showcased the quality equipment that SpanSet provide the scaffolding industry, the event overall was very well attended and received positive feedback.
Having recently partnered with SpanSet for the supply of PFPE equipment to our training centres across the UK, the technical open day provided a great opportunity to highlight the effectiveness of these products to our clients, as well as expert guidance on how these products will be used in a real-life situation.
