Simian MD, Simon, delivers CPD course at UK construction week

We were very proud to have been invited to speak at one of the UK’s largest construction events of the calendar year in October, as we attended UK Construction Week.

Held at the NEC in Birmingham from 9^th to 11^th October, UK Construction Week showcased all areas of the industry, from design to build, product innovation and, of course, the health and safety aspect of construction, drawing an astounding 35,000 attendees.

During the event, Simian’s Managing Director, Simon Hughes, took to the stage on behalf of the NASC to deliver a CPD course on changes to the scaffolding industry. With a presentation covering a number of topics, Simon discussed:

• New and revised health and safety guidance
• Technical and contractual guidance
• Scaffolding specification template for procuring scaffolding contractors
• CISRS continued professional development for scaffolding operatives
