Simian gains ISO & OHSAS certifications
29th October 2015
At Simian Risk quality, health and safety and environmental management have always been at the heart of what we do and how we operate.
We’ve recently been awarded ISO 9001 (quality), ISO 14001 (environment) & OHSAS 18001 certification and this demonstrates that we meet the criteria to achieve these exacting standards in the relevant areas.
ISO 9001 is a certified quality management system (QMS) and gaining this certification is evidence of our ability to consistently provide products and services that meet the needs of our customers and other relevant stakeholders.
ISO 14001:2015 sets out the criteria for an environmental management system and it maps out a framework that a company or organisation can follow to set up an effective environmental management system. In everything we do as a business the environmental impact is being measured and improved.
OHSAS 18001 is the minimum requirements for occupational health and safety management best practice. It demonstrates that we have in place the procedures and controls we need to achieve the best possible working conditions, so in other words, that we’re walking the talk!
Delivering the highest of standards has always been a priority for Simian and this certification reflects our commitment to continuous improvement in these key areas.
It goes without saying that we have the in-house expertise to assist our client base in achieving certification to any one or all three of these standards, so if this is an area which you believe would benefit your business, please give us a call and we’ll advise what is required.
