Simian Employment Opportunity for a Southern Based H&S Advisor

Due to continued expansion, an opportunity has arisen for a Southern-England based individual to join our team of market-leading scaffolding Health & Safety Advisors.

The role will involve undertaking statutory scaffold inspections, scaffolding and work at height audits, preparing safety documentation, attending meetings and managing client accounts.

The successful candidate will be a CISRS Scaffolder (Advanced level) and will either hold, or be willing to work towards attaining the NEBOSH Construction Certificate and/or the NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent) and a CISRS Advanced Scaffold Inspection qualification. Support to this effect, if required, would be given to the right candidate, but those holding these qualifications currently would find this advantageous.

Those having worked in Supervisory and/or management roles would be at a distinct advantage, as would those with excellent verbal and written communication skills. Familiarisation with the Microsoft Office suite of products is viewed as being essential, as is an excellent command of the English language.

Extensive UK travel is possible, so candidates should understand that UK-wide travel is an integral part of the role. Overnight stays will be expensed and a company car or van (negotiable) will be provided.

Remuneration is negotiable and is commensurate with age and experience.
