Scaffold Inspection Course up for Grabs!
31st March 2016
At Simian, we are all about improving standards so we’ve decided it is time to redress the balance and we want to see your examples of stellar scaffolding work!
A quick glance at the hall of shame on our Facebook page will show that there is no shortage of examples that wouldn’t pass a routine scaffold inspection. However, we’re out and about all day, every day looking at scaffolds and these are by no means representative of what we spend our time looking at!
We want you to send us your pictures of scaffolding at its best. It doesn’t matter what type of scaffold is involved and it can be a one lift TG20 compliant tower or a designed truss out – the main thing is that it must show the world what good looks like! It can be a neatly decked platform, an example of innovation, or even just a scaffold that you’re proud of!
We intend to share the best examples we receive on our social media accounts and are offering a fantastic prize for the best example as judged by our Safety Director, Dave Randles. The winner will be offered a CISRS Basic or Advanced Scaffold Inspection Course. To choose the Advanced course, the winner must be a qualified Scaffolder or have held a Basic Scaffold Inspection card for twelve months.
Email your photos to firstname.lastname@example.org with your name and a brief description.
The closing date is Friday 6th May 2016 and the winner will be notified by email.
Entry is open to all and is not restricted to Scaffolders!
* If the winner does not meet CISRS entry criteria for the Advanced Scaffold Inspection course, the Basic Inspection course will form the prize.
