22nd January 2015

RISQS (the Railway Industry Supplier Qualification Scheme) accreditation, formerly known as Achilles Link-Up, is a pre-requisite for those wishing to supply or carry out work on Network Rail’s controlled infrastructure or for London Underground.

Being registered with RISQS lets buyers know that your organisation meets industry standards and takes your company part of the way to gaining access to valuable approved supplier lists and gives the ability for would be suppliers to sponsor their own staff through the Personal Track Safety (PTS) training scheme.

The scheme is used by procurement teams from more than 110 buying organisations to find the right suppliers, reduce duplication of pre-qualification processes, and comply with EU procurement regulations. Becoming approved also gives the opportunity to showcase what each business can offer to these buyers and key decision makers and provides the ability to further diversify the range of sectors in which your business operates.

If you are interested in obtaining this accreditation for your business then we can help by supporting and coaching you through the process by way of advising what is required and producing the necessary management systems.

We have a track record in assisting scaffolding businesses of all shapes and sizes through the process and it’s probably not as painful or expensive as you may anticipate!
