Major Change to CISRS Part One Eligibility

CISRS have announced that the entry criteria for Part One Scaffolding courses is to change with effect from 01 September 2015.

From that date, all of those wishing to attend a Part One course must have held a CISRS Labourer’s card (or a Trainee card) for a minimum period of 6 months prior to the course date.

Those wishing to attend courses later in the year (after September 2015!) may wish to sit the COTS course as soon as they can to avoid waiting for the six month period to pass. For example, an individual sitting the COTS course on 22 July 2015 would not be eligible to attend a Part One course until 22 January 2016. Those sitting a COTS course on 20 April 2015 would not be eligible for the Part One course until 20 October 2015.
