Join Simian Risk for the North West Construction Network

Simian is delighted to be hosting the first official North West Construction Network event on Thursday 14th July 2016.
We have created this networking event to provide a platform for industry experts to deliver topical and educational talks on safety in the world of construction.
For the 2016 North West Construction Network we will open with teas and coffees to start the morning before a brief introduction to the conference. There will be an update on the CITB’s new advisory services and this will be followed by Dave Randles, our Safety Director, who will update the group with a brief presentation on the new CPD scheme for scaffolders.
Adrian Mitchell will be advise on the latest Apprenticeship Levy news and following this Simon Hughes, Group MD, will deliver a talk on the safety considerations when employing young and vulnerable people.
Our preferred charity for 2016, Evolve, will present on legal highs and this talk will cover all of the important aspects to be considered in assessing how this can impact safety in the construction workforce.
There will be plenty of time for feedback and questions following the talks, before the networking lunch begins.

We hope that this will be the first of many fantastic support and educational meetings. It is our intention that The North West Construction Network meeting will be held bi-annually, with every meeting followed by a buffet lunch to allow attendees to network with industry peers.
