Jess Hollowell has achieved her latest accounting qualification

We would like to say a huge congratulations to our Accounts Administrator, Jess Hollowell, who has successfully achieved her AAT Accounting Level 2 qualification.

The one-year course saw Jess gain knowledge on a number of different areas of accounting, including:

• Processing bookkeeping transactions
• Control accounts, journals and the banking system
• Basic costing
• Working effectively in accounting and finance
• Computerised accounting (using Sage)

SIMIAN supported Jess throughout her qualification and she continued to gain knowledge of accounting outside of her course from our team. Speaking of the support she received, Jess has said:

“The team has been really supportive throughout the whole process. They have had a lot of faith in me, and to come out of a tough year with this qualification has been amazing. I learnt a lot from Jackie, our Financial Director, so much so that I gained a 100% pass in my module on Sage Accounting software, something that wouldn’t have been possible without her support.”

Jess joined the SIMIAN team as an apprentice, successfully achieving her Advance Business Administration qualification before joining us as a permanent member of staff. She has been continually praised throughout her years with us by fellow colleagues on her dedication to continue learning and developing her skills.

Jess has now begun her AAT Accounting Level 3 qualification, supported by SIMIAN.
