CISRS Part 2 Scaffolder Approved for SIMIAN’s Menai Centre

Great news for our Menai training centre, which was recently approved to begin hosting CISRS Part 2 Scaffolder courses.

Located in Llangefni, North Wales, our Menai Centre is operated in partnership with Grwp Lllandrillo Menai’s Centre for Infrastructure, Skills and Technology (CIST). Menai currently  provides CISRS Part 1 Scaffolder training as well as other construction related qualifications.

For SIMIAN, our ability to now host CISRS Part 2 Scaffolder training at the Menai centre means  people will no longer have to travel further than necessary to take their scaffolding career to the next level. Ultimately, a scaffolder can complete all their scaffolding training with our skilled team at CIST.

Speaking of this achievement Tommy Jennings, Centre Manager, has said:

“A lot of hard work, time and effort has been put into our operation at CIST over the past few months to gain compliance with the CISRS requirements. From steelwork, structures to documentation, etc. everything was successfully implemented to gain the accreditation for Menai.

I would like to thank CISRS for recognising the efforts shown by all involved to get the centre to the standards required. This is a massive boost for SIMIAN to strengthen our partnership with CIST for the foreseeable future.”
