CISRS Cards Change Hands

As some will already be aware, CITB will shortly be handing over card processing duties NOCN Job Cards, as part of their Vision 2020 restructuring initiative. This means that from the back end of November, NOCN Job Cards will be responsible for producing and managing the issue of CISRS cards.

As we reported in this blog, NOCN Job Cards will produce both plastic and digital CISRS cards, which means holders can carry a copy of the card on their mobile device, in addition to the plastic copy in their pocket!

We have been advised by CISRS that they will not accept card applications after 27 November 2019 and from this date, card applications must be made to NOCN Job Cards. They further advise that due to staff relocation, new training requirements and the usual Christmas closure period, no CISRS cards will be issued during December 2019. This means that that the usual card delivery time of 28 days will be extended.

The CISRS Helpline telephone number will remain unchanged – 0844 815 7223.  Please note that the helpline will be closed on:

28 & 29 November (physical relocation)

05 & 06 December (staff training)

24 December to 02 January (Christmas closure)

A new digital application process will be introduced by NOCN Job Cards during the first quarter of 2020.
