Apprentice news

Paul Howell (Complete Access (Scaffolding) Ltd) has won the CITB’s Outstanding Apprentice Achievement of the Year for 2015.
Paul was an apprentice with us and during his time with Simian he was also awarded our outstanding achiever award.
Sadly, during his apprenticeship Paul had to deal with the loss of a close family member and bad news about the health of another family member. This didn’t stop him from completing his training and performing extremely well during his time at Simian and going on to become an excellent Scaffolder.
Dave Abraham, Simian’s Training Director said, “Paul faced significant personal hardship throughout his time on the apprenticeship, but this never affected his commitment, eagerness and quality of work at all. He completed his Diploma, Functional Skills and NVQ within the allocated timeframe and for this reason I tip my hat to him, both as a trainee and a young man starting out in the industry. He is as deserved a winner of this award as I have ever seen”.
Well done to Paul from all at Simian! This award is truly deserved and we’re proud that you achieved all of this while training at Simian!
