Accreditation success for our clients

It has been a busy start to the year at Simian and we’ve already successfully supported clients through audit processes to help them gain or retain vital accreditations which enable them to work in key industries.

Skill Scaffolding Ltd is one of our long standing retained clients and we have previously supported them through the process to gain RISQS accreditation.

RISQS (the Railway Industry Supplier Qualification Scheme) accreditation is required in order to supply products or services to the UK’s rail industry. This means that any organisation wishing to carry out work within Network Rail’s controlled infrastructure or to work anywhere on the London Underground network must have the accreditation.

This year we’re thrilled to report that Skill Scaffolding Limited, of Southampton, has passed their latest RISQS audit with a five-star rating. The highest possible rating, 5 stars are only awarded for organisations completing the audit without non-conformances for at least two consecutive years.

This is a great achievement and with their accreditation in place the Southampton based scaffolding company is planning ahead for a busy year.

We’ve also recently supported Access Solutions Scaffolding to secure their UVDB accreditation for another year.

The UVDB is the scheme for the UK utilities industry. Registration with the scheme lets buyers in the utilities sector know that those organisations meet the required industry standards. UVBD accreditation gives organisations like Access Solutions Scaffolding access to tender selection opportunities and the potential to promote their services to buyers from more than 80 different organisations.
