This course is aimed at both operatives who carry out labouring/driving duties in support of scaffolding operations, and industry new entrants.

Prior to attending a CISRS COTS course , the delegate(s) must have successfully passed a CITB Health, Safety & Environment test within two years of the course date, or hold a CISRS recognised exemption.

  • Electrical safety
  • Fire prevention and control
  • Noise and vibration
  • Work at height
  • Accident prevention and reporting
  • Slips, trips and falls
  • Personal protective equipment
  • Site transport safety (including loading and unloading)
  • Equipment and tools
  • Manual handling (including practical element)
  • Lifting equipment using a rope and wheel

On successful completion of this course, learners will receive a CISRS certificate of completion, and either a CISRS Scaffolding Labourer card, or a CISRS Trainee Scaffolder card. (Desired card type to be specified at the time of booking.)

CITB Grant claimable with code GET1313, as long as a CITB Levy number is provided at the time of booking.
