This assessment is a mandatory requirement of the CISRS scheme, and is for Scaffolders who have completed both the CISRS Advanced Scaffolding course, and the Level Three NVQ in Scaffolding. It is intended to assess and verify the learner's knowledge of the scaffolding skills learned on the Part One, Part Two, and Advanced courses.

Prior to attending a two-day Skills Test, the delegate(s) must have attended a CISRS Advanced Course at least 6 months previously, hold an Level Three NVQ Certificate in Accessing Operations & Rigging and hold a CITB HS&E test taken within the last two years or hold a CISRS recognised exemption.
Any of:
- two chord raking shore
- three chord raking shore
- dead shore
- flying shore
- temporary roof scaffold stairway ramp
- tubular drop scaffold from steelwork
- cantilever drop scaffold
- tubular drop scaffold from steelwork
- cantilever drop scaffold
On successful completion of the assessment, the learner will be awarded a CISRS Advanced Scaffolder card.
