Part Two Practical Assessment (Tube and Fitting)

This assessement is a mandatory requirement of the CISRS scheme, and is for Trainee Scaffolders who have completed both a CISRS Part Two Scaffolder training course, and the Level Two NVQ in Scaffolding. It is intended to assess and verify the learner's knowledge of the scaffolding skills learned on the Part One and Part Two courses.

This assessement is a mandatory requirement of the CISRS scheme, and is for Trainee Scaffolders who have completed both a CISRS Part Two Scaffolder training course, and the Level Two NVQ in Scaffolding. It is intended to assess and verify the learner's knowledge of the scaffolding skills learned on the Part One and Part Two courses.

Prior to attending a one-day Skills Test, learners must have successfully completed a CISRS Part Two Course at least 6 months previously. They must also hold an Level Two NVQ/SVQ certificate in scaffolding, and hold a CITB HS&E test pass certificate, which was obtained within the last two years, or hold a CISRS recognised exemption.

  • Truss out
  • Roof saddle
  • Radial scaffold
  • Pavement gantry

On successful completion of the assessment, the learner will be eligible to apply for a CISRS Scaffolder card.
