Simian Opens New Welsh Regional CISRS Centre

We’re delighted to announce the opening of our very latest CISRS regional centre in Wrexham, North Wales.

The Wales branch is the second of our ‘partnership’ centres and adds to the capability we now have at our Southern Centre in Carshalton, Surrey, to deliver CISRS COTS and Basic Scaffold Inspection courses.

The Centre has been opened in conjunction with the Construction Wales Innovation Centre (CWIC) which is a unique CITB funded all-Wales Hub & Spokes training facility. Courses will be delivered at Coleg Cambria’s Bersham Road campus.

Speaking after the CISRS’ accreditation assessment, Simon O’Donnell, Simian’s Business Development Manager said:

“We are very pleased to be offering high quality training over an increased geographical area and particularly in North Wales. Coleg Cambria’s facility is excellent and provides another training option within easy reach of North Wales and the Borders, and we’re sure that those looking for the specialist construction training that we deliver, will find this to be a uniquely convenient option.”

The centre was approved for delivery of specified courses after an assessment visit by Trevor Donoghue, CISRS Auditor, during a COTS course which was attended by employees of Simian clients operating in the area.
