Delivering scaffolding training nationwide

With Simian’s rapid expansion over the past few years, our scaffolding training courses are more accessible than ever before, with training centres located throughout the UK.
Our multiple-location strategy has been long in the planning, as we strive to ensure that we are able to support scaffolding businesses wherever they are based.
In our earlier days, Scaffolders were required to travel to our HQ in Warrington to get their scaffolding training, and we were always aware that this was impracticable for many. As the doors continue to open at the new centres we have invested in, our training is accessible more of our clients, wherever they may be based and from April this year, they will be able to take their choice from eight strategically located venues – all with different delivery capabilities.
Our training centres and course delivery
Coleg Menai
Coleg Menai currently plays hosts to COTS, Basic Scaffold Inspection and Site Safety courses, with plans to deliver all CISRS courses at this site from April 2019.
Warrington
Our Warrington headquarters runs all CISRS and Site Safety + courses and boasts the biggest portfolio of all of our centres.
Coleg Cambria
Based in Bersham Road, in the Welsh border town of Wrexham, our centre at Coleg Cambria runs CISRS COTS and Basic Scaffold Inspection training and Site Safety +.
Dudley College
For Scaffolders based in the West Midlands, our Brierley Hill training centre (operated in partnership with Dudley College) provides COTS, BSI, SSPTS and Pre-employment training courses.
Weston College
One of our newest locations, our state-of-the-art training facility at Weston College currently provides COTS and Basic Scaffold Inspection courses, but from April 2019 we will also run a growing portfolio of CISRS courses (Part One, Two and Advanced Scaffolding courses) in addition to Site Safety +.
Kings Cross
Our Kings Cross training centres runs both COTS and BSI courses.
Waltham Forest
Opened earlier this month, our Waltham Forest centre hosts all CISRS Scaffolding courses up to Part Two – with Advanced Scaffolding courses following in April. Additionally, Site Safety + and Pre-employment training feature heavily.
Carshalton College
Our partnership with Carshalton College currently sees us running COTS and BSI courses at their Nightingale Road campus in the town.
