SIMIAN Proud to Host SkillBuild Regional Heat for Roof Slating & Tiling

During April we proudly hosted the very first regional qualifier for SkillBuild 2025 in Roof Slating and Tiling. As the UK’s largest and longest-running construction skills competition, SkillBuild is a vital showcase for the industry’s emerging talent, and we’re honoured to play a role in nurturing and promoting the next generation of roofing professionals.

This exciting event sees four talented learners representing SIMIAN, stepping up to demonstrate their technical ability, precision, and commitment to excellence:

Mark Knight – Greenough & Sons Roofing Contractors Ltd
Dan Knight – Greenough & Sons Roofing Contractors Ltd
Lindon Clayton – The Roofing Company North West LTD
Jordan Parr – The Roofing Company North West LTD

These competitors have undergone intensive training and preparation, supported by our dedicated instructors and employer partners, and today they’ll be putting their skills to the test in a high-pressure, real-world environment.
